Welcome to Best Brew

Best Brew is a homebrew specialist shop we don’t have anything in the shop that isn’t directly connected to home brewing.

For the beer drinkers we sell everything from basic equipment and starter kits for beginners to spray malts, crushed malts and hops for the more experienced brewers.

Don’t worry, for the wine drinkers we also have a large selection of kits and equipment. And if you prefer to make it from natural ingredients we have everything you need.

And if you are just looking for something a bit out of the ordinary we also have liquors and shots.

Opening Hours

Sunday: 12 noon - 7.30pm

Monday: 12 noon - 7pm

Tuesday: 12 noon - 7pm

Wednesday: 12 noon - 8pm

Thursday: 12 noon - 8pm

Friday & Saturday 12 noon - 9pm

If you wish to visit us outside these hours Contact Us and we can arrange to be open.

Location

We are located on the Dublin Road in Athlone next to Acme Blinds.

We are within walking distance of the town and the college. We also have parking out front if you do wish to drive.

Athlone

Located in the very middle of Ireland. Athlone is a prosperous and expanding town with amenities and attractions to suit everyone. There are two big shopping centres located within 5 minutes walk of one another with shops such as M & S, Zara, Tommy Hilfiger, Game and Penny’s.
